Instead of the public performances in the monastery church Königsfelden, Tanz & Kunst Königsfelden presented 'Labyrinth 2020', a unique film about the art project with more than 100 school kids from Baden and Wettingen.

On 18 October, the film was broadcast exclusively for the participants, their parents and teachers for the first time on the big cinema screen in the ‘Trafo’ in Baden. Cine Sterk kindly made the cinema available for this occasion. For the first time the young people were able to see themselves and their comrades in the dance performances on the big screen. A particularly moving moment for children and parents. As a highlight before the film, a live show by the students of the dance teacher Patrick Grigo was offered. Patrick Grigo has been active as a dance teacher since the beginning of the educational art projects.

UPDATE

The current developments and regulations of the Federal Council will hardly allow rehearsals with so many young people in such a small space in the near future. By 20 April 2020, and probably even by the beginning of June, the situation in our everyday lives will not have normalised to the extent that we will be able to hold a project week, among other things, or to allow 400 people (around 170 participants and 235 visitors) in such a confined space in the monastery church in June.

Instead of the public performances in the monastery church Königsfelden, there will be a film. We will provide you with detailed information on this in the shortest possible time.

____________

Tanz & Kunst Königsfelden' fourth education art project means in many respects innovation and advancement. After the last 3 projects "babel überall" (2014), "leise brüllen" (2016) and "kopfüber" (2018) new creative dimensions and forms of design are explored on different levels.

The unique co-operation with primary school classes from the area of Baden and young adults from the Kantonsschule Wettingen opens up new perspectives and content-related discussions on very different artistic and intellectual levels. The specific structures of the individual school institutions represent an additional challenge. The primary classes of the 'Tagesschule Ländli' and 'Tagesschule Tannegg' are part of the unique project. In the everyday school life of the students of the Kantonsschule Wettingen, new dialogues and paths in art mediation open up.
